2008_UPPCOMING. Michel Thomas will take part in the " Lianzhou International Photo Festival 08" in China in december 2008 with 8 photography from the work "CANNED THOUGHT ".
"Michel Thomas catches the ambiguous moments of daily life. He has a genuine interest in, and a curiosity about how ordinary people manage to cope and deal with situations in everyday life. He finds complex visual stories in everyday events that creates double meanings between the visual and metaphorical. Using a straight photography documentary tradition as point of departure, he explores structures and social malaise of daily urban life."

The main purpose of this project was to explore the idea of reality around the world at the turn of the millenium. Talking with people, making personal comments on daily life, the project that contains video and photography is a subjective reflection on the world at this moment in time. |

2006 ONLINE PROJECT. The idea was to create a global display of our common surrounding
from all over the World.
Over 2000 members of "Flickr.com" responded to the challenge . Photographers from all continents, inclusive Antartica,
took one picture each of the sky, of the earth and finally of the
horizon during 3 days in october.

The main purpose of this project was to explore both virtual and real reality around the World at the turn of the millenium. World Tour I, the journey on the internet was the prototype for World Tour II, a journey made in the real World. Project made with Anna Brag.

Busy, diligent, industrious imply active or earnest effort to accomplish something, or a habitual attitude of such earnestness. |

2006 Toys are living at their own pace, following their own rules. Made of plastic often in China there are mass producted but yet each one have its own story, different homes and life lenghts, most of them will survived us. Somewhere in a unknown future.
